This retail fertilizer building was designed to deliver high-capacity, efficient blending and loadout performance with the flexibility to meet current operational needs and the modularity to expand as business grows. The facility features 7,400 tons of dry fertilizer storage, supporting an annual throughput between 25,500 and 30,000 tons.
Diverse Blending Needs
To meet diverse blending needs, the system incorporates a Doyle Declining Weight setup alongside the Doyle AUTOBATCH™ system. The Declining Weight system includes six 12-ton hoppers and two 2-ton micro-hoppers, providing exceptional flexibility and accuracy in multi-material blends. The AUTOBATCH™ system complements this with a double-hopper build-up batching design and a 13-ton rotary blender, enabling seamless transitions between batches of all sizes.
Increased Productivity
The facility’s impregnation system handles four separate chemicals, further expanding its service capabilities. Despite the operation’s scale, only two operators are required to manage the system efficiently, keeping labor needs low while maintaining productivity of six to seven trucks per hour.
